Welcome to my blog! I am Melissa and my husband and I have been married since October 10, 2009. We bought our "forever home" in October of 2008 and we love our old 100 year old home and all of the charm it offers. We are passionate about DYI projects and we've got a few under our belts with this house so far. With the start of the new year we are excited to extend our family:) Stop by from time to time to watch us grow:)

Black Friday..bathroom remodel style:)

We just HAD to put everything in the room to get a feel for it, and we love it:) Far cry from that ugly pink bathroom

*EW*
Who needs two sinks?

Standing up in the tub where the shower head will be coming out at.

Right inside the bathroom door

Just showing me how tall the ceilings will be:)

Santino is loving the layout, and Zoe is thinking about eating dinner:)

Check out the awesome detail on the radiator:)

So glad we're taking photos along the way so I don't have to blog much:) The photos lay it all out there for me:)

Good night!

Progress:)

You see that little red thing sticking out of the outlet and those two lights in the middle and on the right? That means he did it right and we've got power in the bathroom:)

Drywall is up and making the bathroom look a little more like a room:) Now on to the ceiling:)

Who would have thought that working full time jobs would have made this bathroom project move soo slowly?? BOO to full time jobs! But someones gotta pay the bills:)

Just needed to give a quick update:)

Progress

I wanted to show a little peak into the progress of the bathroom project:)
We couldn't resist-we had to put the tub in there to see how it looks:)

I love it:)

This is just a tiny peek into the bath on the main floor. We threw up some drywall behind the radiator and some paint BEFORE putting up the drywall:) Love how the color turned out:)

As our week off from work is coming to an end, I wanted to give a little update. We kinda got pushed back with the plumber taking a bit longer than expected so pushed our time back that we needed to get into the rooms and get going. the hubby worked his butt off on the electrical and plumbing all week and Thursday night we we were able to throw down the floor for the upstairs bath!!
Now, back to work we go to get the most out of these last 3 days before heading back to work!!!
